Since 31 March 2010, the main New Deal for Communities project has come to an end. Many organisations have continued to operate their project which was supported by NELM, and these can be found in Mainstreamed and Self-funded projects. For the period April 2010 - March 2011, NELM is currently supporting a small range of projects and activities.
Community Park
Using NELM funding, the Community Park has been transformed into a beautiful 35 acre Community Park, which contains These include infant, childrens' and teenage play equipment, outdoor fitness equipment, 3 adult and one junior football pitch, multi-use games area, skateboard park, picnic tables, seating and parking. It makes an attractive setting for walking and general enjoyment.
